Harrison Wheeler

Improv Workshop

12:00pm-12:30pm & 12:45pm-1:15pm & 1:30pm-2:00pm @ Bickerseth Room —

Harrison sparks actions of empathy, expression, and support into the daily routines of students, employees, and workplace partners. Simply put, Harrison helps people improve their mental well-being and provides organizations with clear communications and resources to make that possible.

Overcoming 10+ years in recovery (Bipolar 1, addiction, Guillian Barre Syndrome), Harrison attributes his creativity to have been a transformative force for self-actualization, leading him to overcome mental, physical, and spiritual adversity. Harrison is combining this lived experience with his post-graduate work in education and his creative talents to ‘rebrand’ mental health.

Harrison has been an annual conference host, a Vice Principal, and is the author of the YA novel “Jesters Incognito”. He has won critical acclaim for his comedic acting, is a huge fan of funk music, graffiti, and his favourite movie is, unapologetically, the Nightmare Before Christmas.

As a Patient Advisor on the St. Joseph’s Mental Health Quality Council and a trained peer support worker, Harrison is a powerful voice for mental wellness.
