Kennes Lin identifies as a Chinese-Canadian. Oftentimes felt as “in-between” the two cultures, she is proud and passionate to be the bridge for immigrants and the “Canadian” culture. She received a Bachelor degree from the University of Toronto in Global Health and Sociology, and a Social Service Worker diploma from George Brown College. Active in the East-Asian community and with experience working with youth in China and Toronto, she is currently the only Provincial Youth Outreach Worker for the Chinese community in the East Quadrant of Toronto, reaching out to youths and their families in need of mental health support.
