Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Welcomes New Chief, Dr. Vicky Stergiopoulos

On August 1, 2016, Dr. Vicky Stergiopoulos will begin in her new role as Physician-in-Chief for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
Dr. Stergiopoulos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Co-Director of the Department’s Adult Psychiatry & Health Systems Division. She served as the Psychiatrist-in-Chief at St. Michael’s Hospital from 2011-2016 and is a clinician scientist at the Centre for Research on Inner City Health, in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital. Her research is focused on interventions to improve housing outcomes, service coordination and social inclusion for adults with serious mental illness. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Inner City Health Associates and has served on a number of government advisory committees.
Dr. Stergiopoulos brings extensive knowledge, strong leadership experience and a keen interest in mental health policy and system improvement to the role as Physician-in-Chief at CAMH. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Stergiopoulos to her new role.
