The Promotions Primer provides information to faculty on the promotions process. The workshop reviews the criteria for promotions and provides tips on assembling the necessary materials for the promotions application, including the creation of dossiers. It also provides a timeline for planning and submitting an application, a checklist to consider prior to submitting an application, examples of dossiers, and other practical tips to facilitate the process. All faculty interested in promotion to all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) are encouraged to attend, whether they are intending to apply this year or in the future.
