Current areas of research interest focus on education of health care learners, primarily at the postgraduate (resident) level. Areas of interest include working with learners in difficulty and the manner in which education methods impact learners.
Completed medical school and residency in psychiatry at University of Toronto. Completed fellowships in consultation psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine and HIV psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. Worked at St. Michael’s Hospital from 1994- 2014 primarily in area of HIV psychiatry. Began working in general outpatient psychiatry and collaborative care at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2014. Graduated from education scholars program, centre for faculty development, University of Toronto in 2014
