Since 1959 Paul Grof has worked as a research psychiatrist, clinician and administrator in Canada, several European countries, at the National Institute of Mental Health in the USA and at World Health Organization. From l988 to 2005 he was initially Clinical Director and later Director of Mood Disorders Research at Royal Ottawa Hospital, Ottawa. Presently Professor of psychiatry at the University of Toronto and Director of the Mood Disorders Center in Ottawa.
