Dr. Desmond is a Project Scientist at the Brain Health Imaging Centre in CAMH, specializing in Imaging Physics.  She received her PhD in 2014 from the Medical Biophysics program within the University of Toronto.  Her research interests focus on development of mathematical models and optimization of quantitative imaging metrics, in magnetic resonance imaging and, more recently, positron emission tomography.
