Dr Halim attended medical school and residency in Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s NL. She completed her psychiatry residency in 2016 before venturing to Ontario for new adventures and opportunities.
She is a resourceful, well-rounded physician with a passion for education, promoting a healthy working and learning environment. Dr Halim has been appointed early on in career to a leadership position due to excellent communication and collaboration skills. She thrives in challenging situations and aspire to be a pioneer in the field of psychiatry. She is presently the Service Medical Director for the Mental Health Program at Credit Valley Hospital-Trillium Health Partners and hopes to build a patient-centred mental health system which is sustainable and accessible by the community.
