ECHO Ontario Coping with COVID
The “ECHO Ontario Coping with COVID” group is designed for Residents supporting the current Pandemic to share and learn about ways to build resilience and wellness through didactic lectures and case-based discussions.
Sessions will run weekly on Wednesdays 2:00-3:00 pm & Fridays 12:30-1:30 pm, starting Friday, March 27th, 2020.

We will be conducting a needs assessment to finalize topics during our first session. Possible topics to be covered include:
- Self care and wellness
- Burnout and compassion fatigue
- Stigma
- Ethics
- Resilience
- Time and goal management
- Anxiety related to COVID-19
- Hope
- Sleep and nutrition
- Spirituality
- Vulnerability and courage
- Communication skills (with PPE, with patients and families)
Pause for Providers" - online drop-in mindfulness for health care workers during the pandemic
30 minute live guided mindfulness sessions provided by U of T Psychiatry faculty, Drs. Jen Hirsch, Orit Zamir, Mary Elliott and Diane Meschino.
