Dr. Lauren Riggin is a Child & Youth Psychiatrist at CAMH. She completed her MD, Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry residency at Western University. During residency, she received a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the Ivey School of Business. Dr. Riggin is passionate about quality improvement and has completed multiple projects to improve efficiency and quality care in areas such as optimizing EMR orders/powerplans, creating a handover template on the EMR, and advocating for improved care in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Dr. Riggin is currently on the Admissions Subcommittee for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Subspeciality program at University of Toronto. She is an incoming member of the Canadian Psychiatry Association Early Career Working Group as the core member from Ontario. Clinically, she enjoys working with complex youth in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, with a special interest in dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT).
