Dr. Sarah Smith is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Hospital for Sick Children. She received her medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland before completing her General Psychiatry residency, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry subspecialty residency and her research training at the University of Toronto. She has been a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada since 2019.

Dr. Smith’s clinical and research interests are pediatric eating disorders. As a trainee, she pursued specialized training in pediatric eating disorder psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy at several intensive, eating disorder programs in Ontario. Her specific research interests include pediatric eating disorder service delivery, specifically psychotherapeutic models of care, measurement-based care and predictors of treatment outcome.
